Can I buy copies of your photos?

Of course you can!

All photos on this site are available as prints ranging from 6"x4" to 60"x 90"

Some prints, however, are limited.  Please check the description to see which ones are limited and which are not.

All prints come with appropriate matting.  I don't, however, frame prints unless asked.

You can pay through cheque at the moment - however I will be setting up a Paypal account soon.

Can I use one of your images on my website?

With my permission - probably!
I don't allow my photos to be used on any website or publication where I am morally outraged by the content!  So most of you are safe.

I do like to know where my images are being used - so email me and let me know if you're using one (or if you've seen one of my images being used)

Please do not alter my image without my permission first:

It's all about respect really isn't it?

All images have been uploaded and optimised for the web.

If you're still not sure what you can and can't do - give me a shout!

Can I use one of your images for a leaflet/ poster/ book cover/ CD cover etc?

Probably! As with using my images on websites etc. I don't allow my images to be used on something that I don't agree with - so please ask permission first.

All images on this site are optimised for the web - so any right-clicking will result in a poor quality image unsuitable for printing.

My work has been used on a few leaflets, posters, a book cover, magazine cover etc.  So give me a shout.  I'll more than likely say 'yes' rather than 'no'.

What about hiring you for a shoot?

I'm not a professional photographer, so at the moment, in order to build a portfolio, I am interested in shooting bands, singers, performers, models etc.
At the moment I'm offering my services for free, however, please keep in mind that I am still a novice at this!
If you are interested in a shoot, please email me.

Why don't you use a flash?

If I was after the 'perfect picture' then I would probably use a flash, a very expensive lens and I would try to blind any one I took a photo of. (un)Fortunately I'm not after the 'perfect picture'; there are many many more photographers out there who can do that, and can do it well.  I only ever use a flash if REALLY REALLY necessary.  They're cumbersome and annoying.
My gig photos especially embrace the grain.  Embrace the motion.  I've been going to gigs for years (only just started photographing them) and why do I want a picture that simply shows me a singer, or a guitarist caught stock still? I want to see them moving; I want to see them into it, I want it to feel like you're there.
Also, I can't afford a fast enough lens! lol.
